Living perpetually among the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, urban populations are undoubtedly in-need of an escape. However, with limited rest time in a daily routine of an office worker, where can one regularly obtain true innerpeace? where offers a proper habitually retreat? to remain a sane and well-paced life among hectic schedule of urbanites.
The progessively rising amount of the Non-religious challenges a collective belief in Thai society, where Religion plays a major role in nearly every aspect, especially in ‘spiritual’ senses.
This thesis has explored a newly-interpreted spiritual retreat centre for both current and future city-dwellers regardless of one’s religion.
